Monoclonal Anti body therapy

It is similar to the immunotherapy as like stimulating the immune system of the patients. The human body is being treated with the anti-body chemical which acts on the specific antigens in the human body. Once it is injected it binds the target cells and stimulates the immune system of the human body which intern will kill those cells. The major advantage of this particular treatment is that the chemicals can be made to hit directly on the target cells and hence it doesn’t have adverse effect on the other cells of the body resulting in some other side effects. Several method of anti-body treatments are being done on the human body to treat the cancer such as Radio activity immune therapy, ADEPT, immune liposomes etc. the current antibodies are bevacizumab, trastuzumab where are used to treat cancer. Of course the kind of treatment totally depends upon the cancer location and the maturity of the tumor cells.
